Germany has become one of the top destinations for Filipinos and other international students who want to study, work, and build a career abroad. One of the most popular opportunities is Ausbildung in Germany – a unique vocational training program that combines classroom learning with paid on-the-job experience.
Unlike traditional university studies, Ausbildung is designed to prepare students directly for the workforce, making it a practical choice for those who want both education and career opportunities.
Ausbildung in Germany is a vocational training program that combines classroom education with practical work experience in German companies. Lasting two to three years, it allows trainees to earn a monthly allowance while developing the skills needed for a stable career.
For Filipinos, this pathway offers many advantages: affordable or free tuition, professional training in high-demand fields such as healthcare, hospitality, and technical trades, and strong opportunities for employment and residency after completion.
Ausbildung provides a structured and realistic option for those who wish to build their future in Germany, opening doors to long-term growth, stability, and a rewarding international career.
Monthly allowance between €800 and €1,200 (₱50-80K), depending on the field and region.
Might get offered direct employment after training
Most Ausbildung programs are free of tuition fees.
Successful trainees may qualify for permanent residency permit in Germany.
For Filipinos, Ausbildung offers an easy and reliable path to work, live, and grow in Germany.
Applicants from outside the EU, including Filipinos, are required to apply for an Ausbildung visa. The requirements include:
18–36 years old (no official age limit, but recommended under 36)
High school graduate (at least 12 years of schooling)
German language skills at B1 level (some fields may accept B1, others require B2)
