Here's an overview of our Mandarin class levels along with the recommended number of hours:

Beginner Level:

• Suitable for learners with little to no prior knowledge of Mandarin.

• Recommended Hours: Approximately 100-150 hours of instruction.

• Content: Introduction to Pinyin (Mandarin phonetic system), basic vocabulary, fundamental grammar structures, pronunciation practice, and simple conversational skills.

Elementary Level:

• Designed for learners who have a basic understanding of Pinyin and can engage in simple conversations.

• Recommended Hours: Around 150-200 hours of instruction.

• Content: Expanding vocabulary, more complex sentence structures, further practice in speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, and introduction to Chinese characters (Hanzi).

Intermediate Level:

• Suitable for learners who have a solid foundation in Mandarin and can comfortably express themselves on a range of everyday topics.

• Recommended Hours: Approximately 200-300 hours of instruction.

• Content: Building vocabulary and character recognition, enhancing grammar skills, improving listening comprehension, reading comprehension of authentic materials, and engaging in discussions on various subjects.

Advanced Level:

• Designed for learners who are already proficient in Mandarin and aim to refine their language skills to a higher level.

• Recommended Hours: Around 300+ hours of instruction.

• Content: Expanding vocabulary and idiomatic expressions, advanced grammar structures, advanced reading comprehension and analysis, essay writing, formal and informal speech, and preparation for proficiency tests such as HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi).
